Thursday: Students got progress reports! For Biology, this included two test grades (Mitosis/Meiosis and Karyotypes), a bacteria lab grade, a homework average and a Karyotype lab.
**Students have been coming to tutorials ALL week to get help and retake tests if needed! Find out which of the above grades are low and either retake or ask for extra credit!
The next two grades that will be entered will be exhibition lab grades!
Coming Up:
Finals week!(last week of school) This is a really stressful time for students and very college-like. Students have SEVERAL large tests over information from the ENTIRE semester. Additionally, these tests are worth 10% of their final grade so they have to be awesome! On Monday, students will receive a Biology review packet so they will have an entire week to complete the packet and come to tutorials to ask questions!
Happy Studying!

Week At A Glance
Hello Parents and Students!
This week has been so exciting! We have been studying genetics! Punnett squares and predicting traits has been both fun and something students are doing really well at! Ask to see their punnett square problems or you can ask them the difference between a dominant trait or a recessive trait! We also just finished up with exhibition! The students did an excellent job at their presentations Thursday evening and we are so proud of them!
Next week preview: continued genetics and family trees and review for final exam!
